Biography
Stéphan Lamielle, productive author, plastic artist and photographer,
associates sculpture with photography in courses where one process merges with the other. Illustrations, adverts, events and environments delight his lenses.
Former technician and now multimedia professional, he increases his experiences where technology and creation meet. Interactive animation, moving robots, experimental movies and creations for Internet follow each other.
Exhibitions :
- Ashen mildness : Refine-colored photographs, accompanied by sharp mails, move the observator to the heart.
- Carry the Wind : A travelling monumental work made of photographs. The Four Winds carry concepts and narrations. An exhibition between Haute Savoie and Switzerland, commercial zone to alpine tops. A positive aspect, a light in the dark of our consumption was born in those exhibition places.
- Made of man and ocean : Ireland : The relationship between mankind and the ocean fascinates. The call of the sea, the activities on the beach, the essencial nutritive fisherman...Thanks to this exhibition, you will travel through Irish coasts, through places where the relation with the ocean is second to none.
- At other medieval times : The artist suggests an initiatory trip made of tales and legends at the dawn of eternity, during those moments that make our history. A retrospective collection of our ancestors’ history.
- Mountains’ whispers : Stéphan Lamielle looks for texture, tracks down details by simply observing what’s under his feet. He creates original compositions built on play of light. Even if the sky is grey, a gloomy weather reigns at high summits, he finds an undiscovered intimacy. At Galerie d’Art Numérique LG, hôtel Le Ritz, Place Vendôme à Paris.
- Waters from Savoies : Water from Mother Nature comes to us as storms and feeds us. From lake to mysterious wide-watered areas, from the source to the Rhône, those photographs remind us of the basic and vital element of life.
Photographic projects in progress :
- Portraits of our villages. A collection of notes and testimonies accompagnied with photographs. A work made instantly that can be discovered as the photographs are collected.
- To free ourselves from our culture, without upsetting our repressed darkside, searching in the introspective of our culture or facing our archetype to extract the best of our collective unconscious. An exhibition to be followed soon.
- We only keep sweet memories from youth frivolity. As the antagonist, Man feels sometimes like a worried hapiness, shy, fearful joys of life. Complacent job, suitable property, what we should look like in public...the spectator is violently pushed in front of her / his fatal term. Would you survive to a revival ?
